Mac Thayer is the executive director of the Junior Golf Scoreboard, that he founded 25 years ago after his son had participated in competitive junior golf and gone on to play collegiate golf at Northwestern, To that end, that makes him a former “Junior Golf dad”. Mac lives in Richmond, VA with his wife Porter and works with more than 200 collegiate golf programs through the Scoreboard.
