CORAL SPRINGS, Florida (October 27, 2025) – MaryJo McCloskey, Head Women’s Golf Coach at George Fox University, and Shauna Taylor, Head Women’s Golf Coach at University of Arkansas, will be inducted into the WGCA Coaches Hall of Fame on Monday evening, December 8, 2025. The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place at Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, beginning with a reception sponsored by Babygrande Golf and followed by dinner and the banquet. McCloskey and Taylor become the 58th and 59th members of the WGCA Coaches Hall of Fame.
MaryJo McCloskey has completed 19 seasons as the head women’s golf coach at George Fox University. She has led the Bruins to 14 consecutive top 10 finishes at the NCAA Championships, including nine podium finishes, and captured the program’s first-ever NCAA title in 2023. An eight-time Division III Golf Pride WGCA West Region Coach of the Year, McCloskey has coached two individual NCAA Champions, four PING WGCA Players of the Year, three WGCA Freshman of the Year Presented by StrackaLine honorees, 33 WGCA All-Americans, and 28 WGCA All-American Scholars. McCloskey also served two terms as the Division III Director on the WGCA’s Board of Directors.
In 18 years as the head women’s golf coach at University of Arkansas, Shauna Taylor has led the Razorbacks to 17 consecutive NCAA Regional appearances. The team has gone on to the reach the NCAA Championships nine times, highlighted by three fifth-place finishes. A two-time SEC Coach of the Year, Tayor has coached three individual NCAA Champions, one PING WGCA Player of the Year, 19 WGCA All-Americans, and 46 WGCA All-American Scholars.
