Fairway to Green and the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) have joined forces to launch “College Golf Today: Inspiring Tomorrow's Coaches and Players.” “College Golf Today” is dedicated to gleaning valuable insights from college golf coaches that can be passed on to the next generation.

Hosted by former Division I athlete and professional golfer Kelly Okun, “College Golf Today” dives into college golf coaches’ journeys, processes, recruiting tactics, trending college sports topics and more. Perhaps most importantly, head coaches and assistant coaches from various divisions will share their wisdom.

“College golf coaches are shaping far more than lineups and scorecards. They’re developing leaders, building cultures and guiding young women through some of the most formative years of their lives,” said Courtney Trimble, CEO of the WGCA. “This podcast gives our coaches a platform to share their stories, their challenges and the lessons they’ve learned, so we can continue learning from one another and strengthening our community across college golf and beyond.”

Said Okun, founder and CEO of Fairway to Green: “I’ve enjoyed catching up with coaches who have been doing this since my recruiting years and hearing about more recent coaching practices from those who began after my playing days. I can’t wait for newer coaches – and even prospective recruits and their parents – to hear these nuggets of wisdom about coaching and college golf as a whole.”

Released every three weeks starting February 2, 2026, “College Golf Today” kicked off with an insightful interview from Dan Brooks, Duke University’s Women’s Golf Coach. Brooks has led his team to seven NCAA National Championships and 21 ACC Championships. You’ll recognize many of his former players on the LPGA, including Lindy Duncan, Leona Maguire, Celine Boutier, Jaravee Boonchant, Laeticia Beck, Yu Liu, Ana Belac and Gina Kim. (The first podcast can be found here.)
