Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll Announced

FRISCO, Texas (February 27, 2026) – The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced the results of the most recent Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll. This is the first poll of the Spring 2026 season.

 

In Division I, Stanford University remains the unanimous No. 1, after winning their first two events of the Spring (Arizona Thunderbird Intercollegiate and Bruin Wave Invitational). The University of Southern California holds steady at No. 2, with a win at the Alice and John Wallace Women’s Golf Classic. Texas A&M University moves up to No. 3, with a runner-up finish at the Moon Golf Invitational. University of Oregon sits at No. 4, after a runner-up finish at the Chevron Collegiate. Auburn University jumps into the No. 5 spot of the poll, after winning their first two events of the Spring (UCF Challenge – Presented by PDI and Moon Golf Invitational). 

 

Wingate University holds on to the top spot in Division II after receiving 11 first-place votes and securing a win at the Battle at Hilton Head. Dallas Baptist University received two first-place votes to remain at No. 2, following a win at the Women’s Rattler Invitational. Anderson University remains at No. 3, followed by the University of Findlay at No. 4, and Grand Valley State University at No. 5.  

 

In Division III, Emory University received 17 first-place votes to claim the No. 1 spot, after a fifth-place finish at the Space Coast Classic presented by MoonGolf. Carnegie Mellon University received three first-place votes to come in closely behind at No. 2, following a runner-up finish at the Centre College Classic. New York University received one first-place vote, holding steady at No. 3. Pomona-Pitzer climbs to No. 4, after winning their first two events in the Spring (West Coast Classic and SCIAC #1). Williams College sits at No. 5 in the poll. 

 

The top three remain unchanged in NAIA. Keiser University is the unanimous No. 1, following a win and third-place finish (Coastal GA Women’s Winter Invitational and Babs Steffens Invitational, respectively). Dalton State College sits at No. 2, after a runner-up finish at the Kinderlou Forest Spring Invite. Marian University (IN) is in the No. 3 spot in the poll.
