Mizuno WGCA #4 Coaches Poll Announced

FRISCO, Texas (May 1, 2026) – The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced the results of the most recent Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll. This is the fourth and final poll of the Spring 2026 season.
In Division I, Stanford University remains the unanimous No. 1 in the poll, after winning the 2026 ACC Women’s Golf Championship – Stroke and Match Play. University of Southern California holds steady at No. 2, after securing their sixth win of the spring season at the Big Ten Women’s Golf Championships. University of Florida climbs into the No. 3 spot with a win in Stroke Play at the 2026 SEC Women’s Golf Championship. Texas A&M University is at No. 4, after getting to the quarterfinals at the 2026 SEC Women’s Golf Championship – Match Play. University of Texas moves into the last spot of the poll at No. 5, due to a tied runner-up finish in Stroke Play at the 2026 SEC Women’s Golf Championship.
Wingate University received 18 first-place votes and was No. 1 in the Division II poll after winning the 2026 SAC Women’s Golf Championship – Stroke and Match Play. Dallas Baptist University received one first-place vote and remains at No. 2, following a win at the Lone Star Conference Championship – Stroke Play. University of Findlay jumps back into the No. 3 spot after winning the 2026 Great Midwest Women’s Golf Championship – Stroke and Match Play. Anderson University moves to No. 4 after a third-place finish at the 2026 SAC Women’s Golf Championship – Stroke Play. Nova Southeastern University rounds out the poll at No. 5, due to their win at the Sunshine State Conference Championship.
In Division III, Emory University received 14 first-place votes and stayed at the No. 1 spot in the poll, after winning The Deb Jackson Invitational. Carnegie Mellon University received two first-place votes and moved back to No. 2 with a runner-up finish at The Deb Jackson Invitational. New York University received two first-place votes and sits at No. 3, due to winning the Jack Leaman – Stroke Play. Williams College climbs into the poll at No. 4, after a fourth-place finish at the Northeast Invitational. Amherst College rounds out the poll at No. 5, following a third-place finish at the Northeast Invitational.
At the NAIA level, Dalton State University received nine first-place votes and moved to the top of the poll, with a win at the 2026 SSAC Women’s Golf Championship. Keiser University received one first-place vote and sits at No. 2, after two runner-up finishes at the Music City Classic and the Sun Conference. SCAD Savannah climbs into the No. 3 spot, following a win at the Sun Conference.
