Emily Fletcher, Northwestern University

2024-25 Division I Jackie Steinmann WGCA National Coach of the Year Presented by Golf Pride

Led by Fletcher, the Wildcats never placed outside of the top eight and collected seven top three finishes. Northwestern capped its impressive season by claiming the program’s first ever NCAA Championship title.

Anne Walker, Stanford University

2023-24 Division I Jackie Steinmann WGCA National Coach of the Year Presented by Golf Pride

Led by Walker, the Cardinal won five tournaments throughout the season, including the final three: the Pac-12 Championship, the NCAA Cle Elum Regional, and the NCAA Championship. The national title marks Stanford’s third since 2015, the most in the country by any women’s or men’s program since 2008. Five Stanford golfers earned WGCA All-America honors following the season, including the WGCA Co-Freshman of the Year Presented by StrackaLine Paula Martín Sampedro.

Kim Lewellen, Wake Forest University

2022-23 Division I Jackie Steinmann WGCA National Coach of the Year Presented by Golf Pride

Lewellen’s team, which had a program-record five regular season victories, completed their season with their first ever NCAA Championship. The team included four WGCA All-Americans including Rachel Kuehn, Lauren Walsh, Carolina Chacarra, and Emilia Migliaccio with Kuehn recognized as back-to-back ACC Player of the Year. Three of her players will also be competing in next week’s Arnold Palmer Cup (Kuehn, Walsh, and Migliaccio).

Anne Walker, Stanford University

2021-22 Division I Jackie Steinmann WGCA National Coach of the Year Presented by Golf Pride

Walker led the Cardinal to its second national championship in program history. Stanford is the only program to make it to match play in all seven years of the format, and the only program with two titles since the format was instituted. Stanford finished in second place or better in 10 of the team’s 11 tournaments during the 2021-22 season, claiming victories at six of them, and was ranked first in all but one Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll throughout the season. Three Stanford golfers earned WGCA All-America honors following the season, including PING WGCA Player of the Year and WGCA Freshman of the Year Presented by StrackaLine Rose Zhang.

Kory Henkes, University of Mississippi

2020-21 Division I Jackie Steinmann WGCA National Coach of the Year Presented by Golf Pride

Henkes led the Rebels to the school’s first national championship since football's 1962 title and the first ever national championship for a women’s team. Mississippi finished in fourth place or better in nine of the team’s 10 tournaments during the 2020-21 season, including first place finishes at the East Lake Cup and Gators Invitational. In May, two Rebel golfers earned WGCA All-America honors, with Julia Johnson becoming the program’s first-ever First-Team All-American.
