The WGCA looks to its member coaches to help give direction to its programs and events, to promote and distribute information about the association and sport, and to choose recipients for the most prominent coach and player awards presented in women's collegiate golf. Volunteer opportunities may require only a limited amount of time – such as responding to a series of short e-surveys – or may require a multi-year commitment of service on a committee. Regardless of how a member coach may want to participate, we will find a role for them. And with their help the WGCA's voice is made stronger and its ability to affect and promote women's collegiate golf becomes much more powerful.

volunteer opportunities

• WGCA Board of Directors - Each board position is a two-year term beginning June 1 of the election year. Traditionally, the Board of Directors meets in-person two times per year (the Sunday before the USGA Junior Girls and at the WGCA Member Convention). In addition, the board typically will hold a zoom call each month. WGCA members will be notified via email about all available openings as well as nomination and voting requirements and processes.
• WGCA Awards Committees - Each year, WGCA Awards Committees at Divisions I, II and III, and NAIA, recognize the top players and coaches in our sport. 
• Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll Voting Committee - WGCA Coaches Poll rankings are released eight times per season for Divisions I, II and III, and NAIA. Coaches Poll Committee members are asked to evaluate and rank the teams in their respective divisions, are required to stay apprised of teams' performances in their divisions.
• WGCA Webinar Presenters - Member coaches can participate in the WGCA Virtual Programming Series as hosts, panelists, or moderators.
