His commitment to the sport extends to NCAA governance as well, where he served on the NCAA Men’s Golf South Region Regional Advisory Committee for three consecutive years, including two terms as Chairman.

Williams has been a dedicated member of the PGA of America since 1988 and has served the Carolinas PGA Section in numerous leadership capacities, including multiple terms on the Board of Directors (1991–93, 1995), Chair of the Junior Golf Committee (1992), and Chair of the Tournament Committee (1993–94). A skilled player in his own right, Williams captured eight Carolinas PGA Pro-Am titles, won the 2019 Carolinas PGA Senior Pro-Pro Championship with partner Brady Pinner, and qualified for the PGA Club Professional Championship in both 1989 and 1992.

Kevin has supported numerous charitable efforts, including the Mr. Beast Philanthropy Food Pantry (2021–2024) and the Build-a-Bike Charity (2019–2020).
