Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll rankings are released eight times per season for Divisions I, II and III, and NAIA. The top-25 programs are ranked for Divisions I, II and III, while the top-10 programs are ranked in the NAIA.

The rankings are calculated based on ballots submitted by a panel of head women's golf coaches for each division, with even distribution across all conferences and regions. The Division I WGCA Coaches Poll Voting Committee consists of 33 coaches, the Division II WGCA Coaches Poll Voting Committee consists of 20 coaches, the Division III WGCA Coaches Poll Voting Committee consists of 24 coaches, and the NAIA WGCA Coaches Poll Voting Committee consists of 10 coaches.

Each coach submits a top-25 with a first-place vote worth 25 points, second place vote worth 24 points, and so on down to one point for the 25th ranking. For the NAIA, each coach submits a top-10 with a first-place vote worth 10 points.
